Today is my 2nd day of work.... I feel so fortunate working in this company. Boss bought me a new computer, he asked me which brand I prefer, how many inch LCD I want, what type of software I want to use. I told him I got no preference in brand, but I prefer using PC (Although most designers use MAC), then I leave everything to him too. At the end of the day, he told me he'll be giving me a 19 inch LCD, and he asked me what version do I use for freehand software, I told him 10, but my manager is using the latest version, so my boss bought me an entirely new version 10 Freehand to install to my computer... I'm so touched. A bit guilty too... This boss is way too good, he let me chose what I want, that's why I'm too shy to say what I want. Everyone is nice there... Boss showed me 2 workshop and the showroom yesterday. He and Florence, the customer service officer cum admin, gave me training yesterday. I'm so interested in this job, that's why I kept asking questions yesterday.
Today, My manager gave me a little bit of training, 5% training, while yesterday is 10-20% training. He asked me to learn slowly, and he gave me some work to do, he wanted me to design one of the chinese font which is the surname of some people, I pointed out the list to him and told him isn't that the surname? He said he thought so too, but it's not, so I did for him. So while doing, I kept thinking that is the right one, so I went to ask Florence and she said yes too. Then boss came and asked how's everything, I told him I am doing the surname thing, then he also said have already. Then when manager came, I pointed out to him again and he said sorry to me haha... But lucky I didn't do much of that work, coz I skipped and do other work.
Boss will be bringing me down to IMM and causeway point show room one of these days. Yesterday he bought me to the workshop and told me that I must know one of the machine. That machine we don't have in TP, so I was thinking how to use, but boss said I don't have to use, I am supposed to order worker do, I am only in charge of designing haha... I felt a sense of relieve, finally no more workshop! Hurray...
Today I designed a chinese font, it was approved by the manager, so for this particular customer, he will be using the font that I designed for his main gate... Hehe... So happy.... So satisfied....
Tomorrow I'll see my computer on the desk already as my boss asked the people to install tonite... Shall I say thank you boss for the new com? Or is it just normal for boss to give com to employee? Haha... A bit shy to say thanks though... So formal... So mushy... haha...
3 months of probation. I can make it! I will make it! Jia you!!!
Got to sleep early nowadays... Not used to it anymore... But it's good to do that. Nite... tata..

Woo... long time nv blog again.....
Recently looking for job... tried out admin field. I went agency to look for jobs. The agent quite rude to me at first, but when she got a job for me and I said I want, she began to treat me so nice. She even called me early in the morning to remind me for the interview, and when I reached there, she wanted me to call her again, and after the interview, she called me again.... And when I said that interview was bad, she didn't call me after that haha... Haiz.. I dun wan to find job by agency anymore... I think they always draw commission from our pay...
Hmmm.... before yesterday, I said that I don't want to work as a product designer, but after Eric told me alot of things, I started finding back my passion in product design. Today, I sent an email to the company to apply for the post of product design, and few minutes later that peron called me to go down for interview. So that's the 2nd interview of today. The morning one was the 1st interview which is terrible, but pay higher.
So the product design job interview was good, but not perfect. Was thinking I might be able to gt this job... I hope so haha... The people there are so friendly, so warmth.... Don't mind working there....
Anyway, I'll just wait for the reply then. I've created an online store selling accessories.... New site, not alot of accessories though. Can check it out at www.freewebs.com/pinkishdivine

Finally the diploma show had come to an end..... On Friday night is the opening of the diploma show. Our principal which we have not seen before, came to the ceremony, as well as the famous designer Victor Margolin from states came as a Guest of Honour. Our director was there also haha..... Everything turned out well except that starting we were a bit disappointed with the exhibits.... We had a nicer exhibition stand in mind, but when we were there, it all turned out to be the normal cheapo white stands.... zzzz... Anyway, our work brighten up the white boards la.... And there's so much crowd on Friday.... I was there the whole day. Some itchy hand people just couldn't resist touching our models.... A part of my model were broken by one person, but I don't know who is it. So after sticking that part back, I put a "Display Model, Do Not Touch" sign at the base of my model. Who knows on Saturday, some idiot broke that part again. They thought it's workable. But it's only a model... How can it be workable??? How can you actually touch the model in exhibition? omg..... My friends model were damaged badly too... So heart pain for them. Then I am so pissed off. I move the sign to the top of my model after that. Finally, today I went there, no one touch my model haha.... On Saturday, sis came back with my niece, so I only went back there for a while, and after a while, Zi Jun & Min Hua came to see my exhibition too. After that went to walk around with Zi Jun at Orchard lor... Long time no shopping.
Today is the last day of my diploma show. Went there at 7pm, and just nice can start packing up haha..... Then after that went home.... Oh.... I've been at home all the way till 6 plus. Why? That
's because my sis spoilt my com... My com got virus! For the 1st time.... Haiz... So pissed off... Lucky my files still can back up lor..... Bf came to help me repair. Then now ok liao.... Spend 5 hours downloading everything to my com. Tomorrow is a free day hehez.... Will be playing around with my sis n niece first before finding a job. Wait till they leave singapore 1st lor.... Long time din see them.
Got to sleep now... Super tired.. Tataz.......
